Milwaukee, Here Come Bette & K. Let’s Get a Grip.
We’re Bette and K—twin sisters heading to Milwaukee, and we’re stoked.
We’re taking StrokeMaster® on the road—with a little Laverne & Shirley vibe. Two sisters, a lot of determination, and a business built around helping people keep doing what they love.
Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!
We’re heading to the American Society of Hand Therapists Annual Meeting, October 8–10, at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. We’ve been packing, planning, making signs, sorting samples, and figuring out how to get all this stuff there. Somewhere in the middle of it, we keep coming back to why this trip means so much.
It started with Ray.
Our stepfather loved golf. After his stroke, holding onto the club became difficult. He still wanted to play. His grip had changed. His grit, his attitude, his energy, and his love for the game didn’t.
Necessity is the mother of invention. Ray wanted to hold onto his club, and finding a way to help him do it is how StrokeMaster began.
And now here we are, taking the invention and all it inspired to a whole community of people whose work is helping others get a grip—and get back to their lives.
That’s what has us so excited.
“What would they love to do again?”
For someone who loves golf, that could mean being outside, seeing friends, getting off the couch and out of their own head.
Still have rounds to play. Trash to talk.
But here, the possibilities are endless.
Rehabilitation, therapy, everyday skills at home. We’re excited to explore where StrokeMaster could help people we hadn’t even thought of—and to hear from the professionals who can help us understand those possibilities.
We get to introduce our product to people who get it. People who understand why being able to hold onto something can mean so much.
We can’t wait to meet the doctors, hand therapists, and treatment specialists on the front lines of helping people work through grip challenges. You know so much more than we do about the hands themselves. We want to listen and learn.
What are you seeing in your practice? What do your patients miss doing? What comes to mind when you try StrokeMaster?
We’re bringing something that started with our family. You’re bringing the experience of helping people every day. We’re excited to see what we can learn from each other.
If you’re coming to ASHT, stop by Booth 511 and meet Bette and K. Try the glove and strap system. Tell us who you’re thinking of and what they’d love to do again.
If you’re following from home, come along at @strokemastergolf. We’ll be sharing the trip, the conversations, and a little sister commentary. Probably more than a little.
Milwaukee, let’s get a grip.
Keeping people in the game of life.
Bette & K
