About
It all started with an avid golfer who refused to stop golfing.
Not because he was stubborn, but because golf was part of who he was.
Introduction
Hi, I'm Sharon, the inventor of the StrokeMaster®.
I’ve spent 30+ years building businesses, fixing problems, and stepping into situations where things weren’t exactly… organized.
Inventing the StrokeMaster® is probably the most fun I’ve had fixing problems, mainly because of the name. People either laugh, blush, or immediately have a joke. And I have their attention.
From there, it’s simple: if something solves a real problem, it should exist, and people should be able to use it without jumping through hoops or reading a manual the size of a novel.

The Challenge
In 2004, my stepfather Ray had a stroke.
He didn’t lose his love for the game. He didn’t lose his drive to get out on the course. But he did lose something that mattered just as much:
His grip.
Suddenly, the thing that had always been second nature, holding a golf club, wasn’t possible anymore. And for someone who showed up to the course every day… that’s not a small problem.
The Solution
That was not acceptable to me.
I decided that Ray deserved to get out there and golf again. There had to be a solution.
I armed myself with Velcro, Elastic, and a very clear goal:
Get Ray his golfing game back. (And out of the house)

The Result
And it worked. Ray played again.
He got back out there. Back to walking the course. Back to playing with his grandkids. Back to doing the thing he loved.
His life was full again.
He could still adjust his grip.
Switch clubs. Play normally.
No constant on-and-off.
No slowing down play.
No complicated setup.
And after 20 years, you, too can use the StrokeMaster® to stay connected with your club, build confidence, and keep playing the game you love.

In conclusion
The StrokeMaster® was born.
That original, slightly scrappy solution became what you now know as the StrokeMaster®.
Yes, the name gets a reaction. The golfer without a sense of humor is a golfer who golfs alone.
And once you try it, the conversation changes pretty quickly.
Today, the StrokeMaster® helps golfers and active people dealing with:
- Arthritis
- Stroke recovery
- Injury
- Weak grip strength
- Hands that just don’t cooperate like they used to
It also serves as a training aid for golfers looking to improve grip awareness, club control, and confidence throughout their swing.
It secures your hand to the club so you don’t have to rely on grip strength alone.
The elastic wrap system helps create a more secure connection between your hand and the club, providing added stability without locking you in.
Just a better way to keep playing a few more rounds.
Golf is just the beginning
Sure, we love golf. But the StrokeMaster® isn't just for golfers.
Whether you're swinging a golf club, serving a pickleball, hitting a tennis ball, or tackling another favorite activity, StrokeMaster® is designed to help when grip strength becomes the thing standing between you and doing what you love.
Our mission has never been about a single sport. It's about helping people stay active, stay independent, and stay in the game, whatever game that happens to be.
Your hands may need a little backup. Your hobbies don't need to retire.
